Stone Temple Pilots – Plush lyrics
And I feel that time's a wasted
Go
So where ya going til tomorrow?
And I se that these are lies to
Come
So Would you even care?

And I feel it
And I feel it

Where ya going for to tomorrow?
Where ya goin' with the mask I
Found?
And I feel, and I feel
When the dogs begin to smell
Her
Will she smell alone?

And I feel, so much depends on
The weather
So is it raining in your bedroom
?
And I see, that these are the
Eyes of disarray
Would you even care?

And I feel it
And she feels it

Where ya going for to tomorrow?
Where ya goin' with the mask I
Found?
And I feel, and I feel
When the dogs begin to smell
Her
Will she smell alone?

When the dogs do find her
Got time, time, to wait for
Tomorrow

To find her
To find her

When the dogs do find her
Got time, time, to wait for
Tomorrow

To find her
To find her

Where ya going for to tomorrow?
Where ya goin' with the mask I
Found?
And I feel, and I feel
When the dogs begin to smell
Her
Will she smell alone?

When the dogs do find her
Got time, time, to wait for
Tomorrow

To find her
To find her

When the dogs do find her
Got time, time, to wait for
Tomorrow

To find her
To find her

To find her
To find her

I think the song is written from a fathers perspective about a girl growing up, starting to wear makeup "where ya going with that mask I found" and the boys beginning to notice her 'When the dogs begin to smell her" and if she will notice them "will she smell alone" then waiting for relations with them " when the dogs do find her Got time, time to wait for tomorrow to find it".

I think both previous meanings were very insightful, and far from saying they are incorrect - I thought it was from the point of view of a guy whose girl has to go somewhere and he's associating other guys as dogs wondering if she will smell alone, or single. Where you going with the mask I found - maybe she's packed different clothes, or outfits she normally doesn't wear. Is it raining in your bedroom? Why can't we go to bed, he's saying I think. Eyes of disarray - everything in his eyes is messed up, different, he feels it, and she feels it. But does she even care?

This song to me has always seemed to indicated an abduction of a child, a girl. I think the song is written from a man's point of view, a man who has seen in a vision what has happened, and is trying to explain this to the police, but is getting ignored. He is stating that time is a wasted go, meaning, that waiting to find the girl alive is pointless, as she is about to die if the police don't listen. He has discovered a mask, that the abductor used, but the police only care about the obvious evidence, rather than this man's vision. He goes on to say when the dogs they find her, got time to wait till tomorrow, to find it (the murder weapon). Will she smell alone, meaning, will there be other girls they will find along with her, as well, dead. The pain the man expresses is that by the time she is found, the police will have plenty of time. It will already be too late.
