    I guess it kinda means that well. It talk about two people who love each other. A lot. And they're so close to having everything they've ever wanted together but also they have so many obstacles, so many problems. So, yeah, kinda like forbidden love. And this song just centers around these quiet moments they have next to each other. So close. And completely detached from everything around them. And over here where the writer says: "How should I face those faceless days, if I should lose you now?" I guess he means that the moment's ending and that soon they have to face reality and bid each other goodbye and face the fact that it's almost impossible for them to be together. So, in my opinion, it means that together, they feel like there so close to a happy ending but the moment they let go, they're far again.

    This song is about two lovers who love to indulge in each others company but have something that's keeping them from lvoing each other as deeply as they should. In other words the passion,& emotions,& lovee they feel for each other are so close to being put out in the open & for them to live happily ever after is being stopped by there is something in the way stopping them from letting each other know how they feel, even though they both know they were meant to be together in their hearts.

    I think this song is about two people's relationship and how it was just 'so close' to being everything and then someone or something just comes between them, and even though they know they are perfect for each other, they can't be together. I can totally relate to this song. Before my best friend and I had a falling out we were 'so close', and by the time it was too late, we realised that we both had feelings for each other, and we could've been so much more, and now we're 'so far' because we aren't even friends anymore. :(

    I think the song shows a sentiment about two people as potential lovers but can't be in a relationship yet. The reason could be they're stuck in a situation and must address their concerns first before they could finally express their love for each other. They could be so close to being in a romantic relationship, really longing for it in the first place, but can't because they knew that they'll be better together some time.

    The song tells about two lovers who love each other. But they cannot love each oter. So eventhough they are close together they can't express their feelings with each other. Even if it hurts too much. They don't want to loose each other it seems like they can only be together in their dreams. So even if they are so close they seem to be far from each other. Believe me I'm experiencing this right now ang the song so close really makes me cry everytime I hear it. I salut the composer of the author you really knok me out. Thanksss.

    Well for me the meaning of this songs is about the two people who become's lovers but they cannot express they love because for some reasons. They become close together but they need to stop loving because the gurl who was falling inlove with him is getting married.
    Well its about time 2 face the reality and the boy is getting married also with another gurl so it means so close but still so far. Need to lose each other arms. (ps. They are both the same street).

    This is a soundtrack of my life. I've been dating a boy who isn't the same religion with me. This is a big problem in my country for most of the people. I am happy with him and he has the same feeling too. When we are together, we are so close to each other. Not just physically but also emotionally. Now, time goes by. Both us have to think about our future. Fighting this into a higher level is not an easy thing. Meanwhile, both of us are not ready to say goodbye. Just like this song, we are so close. But also so far. Hope we can fight this! Thanks Jon for singing it very well. My heart is singing and crying at the same time.

    This song is about two persons with a deep and strange connection that causes them to feel romantic things and care about each other. But they live in different worlds, they are separated by time and other people in the middle, and although their feelings are pure they can't make those feelings real. They only can live in a dream and in their last dance their realize how painful is to have something that you know it's impossible right from the start. And they say goodbye, but they will remain on each's other heart forever.

    Well. From the first time I've heard this song in the movie enchanted, it really made my heart melt. I guess this song just expresses a feeling of so much love, but it's forbidden. Just like the situation of robert and giselle. Robert got nancy and giselle have the prince. Though they have thier own "partners", still they feel something for each other. When they danced at the ball. This song was really telling their story.

    This song tells about two persons who knowing what they needs eachother, who have same favourite things, who understanding eachother, who knowing what they wanted eachother, feels comfort eachother even just for a simple touch, love, very close, dreaming an everlasting happiness. But there is a situation between them which absolutely makes them can't be together. Honestly this song is the soundtrack of my life. I and Mr. F are very close right know, so close to reaching a famous happy end, almost believing this is not pretend that how far we've come. So close but still so far. Hix. Hix. Hix :(

    This song is one that really gets to me. This is because I have a really good guy friend who means everything to me and I mean something to him. However there is an age difference and he has a girlfriend. I think the person who wrote the song was basically saying that two people can be so close, but there's something, like between Giselle and Robert, that stops them. At least for the time being.

    This song means that just when you decided to give up hope on ever finding true love and ever finding a happily ever after, someone comes along and makes you feel so close to achieving that romantic dream. You hope that this time its real but yet fear is causing that person to be so far away from you. Your so close to reaching it all to reaching her/him but yet still so far. . I can relate. :/

    The time I heard this song and I saw this in the movie enchanted, I really got teary eyed because the song really means everything to me. You think that you are already close to that person but still so far. So far that you can't reach him. You can't say what you really feel and just be contented hiding your feelings. It really hurts right? I love this song. As in! My lullaby.

    This song is about finally reaching a destination in your love life, but being so far from the end. The lovers have come so far together and become so close, but they still have s far to go. But to go together. This is the song I am dancing my first dance at my wedding to, because even though we have come so far, the marriage is just the beginning and we have so far to go.

    I feel like this song is about ex-lovers who meet each other again. Seeing how far they come but never ending up with each other. They loved each other so much that they just had to let each other go. Wondering what it would have been like if they were still together and what went wrong.

    I agree with Bleedinglove. There is someone that I have extremely strong feelings for, and well, he does for me too. But we live in different states (we have met in person but weren't able to actually date at that moment).
    But this song is most definitely about the distance trying to tear you apart, but your feelings for each other being so strong that distance does not matter, and it shouldn't matter ever.
    I must say that my biggest dream ever is going the make the distance even bigger, but our hearts will remain together, I will miss him terribly, but it will all be for us to have a better future together.

    Whenver I hear this song, I remember my first love. Hmmm, from the very start I knew he have feelings for me, it shows, but he never told me. And I don't know if he knows that I love him. I just can't say it. Why. Were just friends now. Hmmm. And whenever we see each other, he would suddenly sing this song from out of the blue. Ehehe. Should I keep silent? It seems like it's the best thing to do. Is it?
