Tyrone Wells – Time Of Our Lives lyrics
This is where the chapter ends
And new one now begins
Time has come for letting go
The hardest part is when you know

All of these years
When we were here
Are ending
But I'll always remember

We have had the time of our lives
And now the page is turned
The stories we will write
We have had the time of our lives
And I will not forget the faces left behind
It's hard to walk away from the best of days
But if it has to end, I'm glad you have been my friend
In the time of our lives

Where the water meets the land
There is shifting in the sand
Like the tight that ebbs and flows
Memories will come and go

All of these years
When we were here
Are ending
But I'll always remember

We have had the time of our lives
And now the page is turned
The stories we will write
We have had the time of our lives
And I will not forget the faces left behind
It's hard to walk away from the best of days
But if it has to end, I'm glad you have been my friend
In the time of our lives

We say goodbye, we hold on tight
To these memories that never die
We say goodbye, we hold on tight
To these memories that never die

We have had the time of our lives
And now the page is turned
The stories we will write
We have had the time of our lives
And I will not forget the faces left behind
It's hard to walk away from the best of days
But if it has to end, I'm glad you have been my friend
In the time of our lives

I'm glad you have been my friend

In the time of our lives

When you graduate high school or college, a chapter of your life, your teenage life, has ended, and a new chapter, your adult life, is beginning. You have to let go of all your friends and the comforts of high school to move on, which will be hard. You know that you will probably look back on these years as some of the best years of your life, as the time of you and your friends lives. Despite leaving, you are ready to fill up a new page with your adventures, successes, and failures. You'll never forget your journey into adulthood, and you're happy that your friends were there to help you along the way. When you finally enter college or the work force, there might be confusion and failure, but you will be making memories all the same. You will always cherish your memories you have made, and you will always cherish your friends for being there.

I have a friend of mine, whom I have a crush on. We've been friends for one and half year. I couldn't tell her that I love her, then she moved out. Now, I don't see any chance we could be together. We have contact though and as I knew, she is moving on. Now, it's time to give her up but it's a comfort that I hear this song that we have had the time of our lives as friends. I will remember those sweet memories. Though it hurts, now it's time to turn a new page but all I feel is burning inside.

Well this year was amazing, and it has ended, we had the very best time of our lives, we have been crazy, we rocked the school, we did all the crazy stuff, it all happened for the first time this year and am gonna miss it like hell, so every time I hear this song a lot of memories are brought back and am gonna miss all of that so much.

I am getting older and death is going to be near, throughout my life, where ever I have lived, I have made life long friends and to those friends and my family I want them to know that I love them and that they enriched my life forever. I am doing a video with this and others and photo's of friends and family.

this song to me is worth alot i had a crush who i just learnt is not moving to the same highschool as me, when talks about cherishing memories i find it more important to not be stepping back from them but getting closer then and spending the last period of time with them happily , making sure knowing was worth it. letting them know they are special to me, not keeping my feeling to my self, telling them i am MM

I've just finished college and about to go to uni, my mum has only just died. So it reminds me that we had great times together but they have ended now. Next year my sister will go to uni and dad will move house. So it feels like I have lost my family and my childhood home. The line "there is shifting in the sand" feels like it was made for the fact that we will be living together for one more month and then its all gonna change.
