World Premiere! Zedd & Alessia Cara - "Stay": Full Audio + Review
We informed you last December that DJ Zedd and Alessia Cara were cooking something up in the studio. Well, now 2 months later, here is the result of that collaboration: the song “Stay”. Zedd and Alessia’s first work ever together.
Where is this from is yet to be determined, most likely from Zedd’s upcoming third studio, but let’s not get preoccupied on this yet. We’ll discuss about it later. For now, let’s enjoy “Stay”.
“All you have to do is stay a minute / Just take your time / The clock is ticking, so stay”, sings Ms. Cara in the chorus of this new song over a Zedd-crafted cool EDM mid-tempo beat.
REVIEW: “Stay” sounds quite nice, could be a mini hit, but we have to stay that two of the first things that popped in our heads while listening to “Stay” were: “Sounds like song Taylor Swift recorded in the past” and “the production sounds very The Chainsmokers-ish”. Other than that, we’re digging “Stay”, and were digging that Alessia is opening to other genres as well.
