Ricky Martin - The Best Thing About Me (Video!)
Puerto Rican superstar Ricky Martin premiered earlier today (January 11th) via VEVO the music video for "The Best Thing About Me Is You", the official lead single from his upcoming bilingual album "Music + Soul + Sex" - in stores on February 1st. The feel-good vibed song produced by Desmond Child premiered back in November 2010 with a stellar performance on 'Oprah' - where Ricky also gave his first interview on TV after admitting he was gay in March that year. The version in English features British star Joss Stone and its Spanish counterpart "Lo Mejor De Mi Vida Eres Tu" features the Spaniard Natalia Jimenez. It's this last version the one that has achieved the most success, that was kinda obvious since Ricky is more of a big celebrity in the latino media. The single's spanish version peaked at #1 on Billboard's Latin Pop Songs Chart, so big *late* congrats to Ricky Martin. As for the new music video, this features the English edit, it's OK. What happened to Joss, though? No sign of her in it. The message in the clip was nice but the intro was so "If I Were Booooooy", remember?. "Intimacy," "Honesty," "Commitment" "You." "Me." "Us." = "lol".
