Single Review: Liam Payne - "Strip That Down" / *Audio Included

The last One Direction member who had to release solo music has finally done so. Liam, aka. Cheryl’s baby daddy, released his new single “Strip That Down”, featuring Quavo of Migos, today, May 19, on all digital music stores and it’s…. *drum rolls*… HOT! (woot! woot!). I was afraid it was going to be super corny but thank God that wasn’t the case (ok, there might be a certain level of corniness but it’s just so little I don’t really mind).
“Strip That Down”, written among Liam, Ed Sheeran and 800 more people (no kidding), is a pop-urban song where Mr. Payne reveals his “hunter” personality. When he spots a girl he likes in the club, it’s OVER. She’s his now, and there’s nothing she can do but “strip that down”. “Only you can dance with me / So put your hands on my body / And swing that round for me, baby”, sings Liam on the chorus of his new single over an infectious Steve Mac-produced body-popping urban beat. Wonder if this is how Liam hit on Cheryl?

LIAM DEFINITELY CHANNELS HIS INNER JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE IN THIS SONG!
I’m down with this song, I’m hooked on it, can’t stop repeating those “YEAH, YEAH, YEAH, YEAH!” in my mind, and I predict a great future for this song (if Liam promotes like crazy)! Totally looking forward for Liam’s solo album now. OH, and please hurry with the music video for “Strip That Down”.
