Say What!? Alternate Music Video for Calvin Harris' "I Need You Love" Leaks Online 2 Years Later!
So random. In April 2013 Calvin Harris premiered the Emil Nava-directed video for his then Ellie Goulding-assisted single “I Need Your Love” – where the DJ and singer were on-screen lovers (kisses, skin baring and heavy touching included) – and today, two years later, we are left shocked as its “secret” alternate music video has surfaced online. Why now? Why 2 years later? Who leaked this!?
The ‘official’ music video may remain as my favorite but this alternate thing is definitely cool to watch. It sees a darker theme for the video of the EDM song, with Ellie wearing a black tunic, Calvin doing his turntable thing also in the shadows, and a weird kid standing on top of huge tree branch that suddenly gets on fire.
I like it, but it gets a little too boring as you watch it and it’s far too dark at times.
