It′s Christmas time once more,
And Santa's on his way,
Dishing out the prezzies,
To the kids on Christmas day,
It really is a pleasure,
Too see him in full flight,
But I only wish that silly big twit,
Would not wear red and white!
Cos Santa is a Geordie,
He was born down Benwell way,
He got his job when he passed his test,
In his reindeer powered sleigh,
He says he loves Newcastle,
And he likes to cheer em′ on,
But the Geordie fans all scream at him,
"YOU GOT YOUR COLOURS WRONG!"
So Santa loaded up his sleigh,
To travel far and wide,
Making kiddies happy,
Helped him feel real good inside,
He'd sing the Blaydon Races,
To pass the time away,
But he'd feel hurt when he recalled,
What he heard the Geordies say,
"Oh, Santa you′re a Geordie,
You were born down Benwell way,
You got your job, when you passed your test,
On your reindeer powered sleigh,
You say you love Newcastle,
And you like to cheer em′ on,
But we will shout and scream at you,
COS YOU GOT YOUR COLOURS WRONG!"
Well Santa cut his journey short,
"So the kids can wait a while,
This year I'm gonna do my rounds,
But finish in real style!"
He called into the Tailor′s shop,
Gave the chappie quite a fright,
When he said "I want a new suit made,
This time in Black and white!"
"Oh, Santa you're a Geordie,
You were born down Benwell way,
Ah you got your job, when you passed you test,
On your reindeer powered sleigh,
You say you love Newcastle,
And you like to cheer em′ on,
But we will shout and scream at you,

Santa in his brand new suit,
So full of Geordie pride,
He organised his rounds,
So he could finish on Tyneside,
As he flew over the city's street,
He was such a welcome sight,
And felt real chuffed when he heard them scream,
"YOU GOT YOUR COLOURS RIGHT!"
"Oh, Santa you′re a Geordie,
And we're all proud of you,
Ah you look real damner in your brand new suit,
Newcastle through and through,
We only hope the kiddies,
Will one day understand,
That you're now dressed in Black and white,
Cos you don′t like Sunderlaaaannnddd!
